Why Nipmuc Regional High School was nominated

Student experience design

Nipmuc Regional strives to create a learning environment where students not only have access to curriculum that will open doors to their future but also have the chance to practice and master the skills needed to be confident, capable, and happy in the world beyond school. The Nipmuc community strives to meet this goal by creating a series of collaboratively built, high-confidence authentic learning experiences that connect the curriculum in meaningful ways to the real world. When engaging in these authentic experiences, learners practice and get feedback on their mastery of the competencies and skills embedded in Nipmuc's Portrait of a Learner.
