Monument Mountain is building out a proficiency-based assessment system and has been de-leveling their academic coursework to ensure that all students receive an equitable and high-quality academic experience (at the school, this is referred to as “leveling up.”) Monument Mountain has also established a robust student advisory board that is a model of youth-adult partnership in school governance where students have real voice in school policies and practices.
