The place-based program here is designed for students to learn foundational skills in on-campus and Zoom classes; then they put that into practical application as they work with community partners. Middle school students have been working with the Hawai’i Wildlife Discovery Center, Nāpili Community Gardens, and PBS Hiki Nō.
