Global Village Academy – North reimagines the learning experience by offering open-access immersion programs in Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, and Russian within a globally oriented K–8 model. By structuring learning around daily immersion, international themes, and hands-on, collaborative instruction, GVA North creates classrooms that are engaging, culturally vibrant, and intellectually stimulating. Students explore real-world issues, build cross-cultural competence, and develop strong communication skills that transcend traditional academic boundaries. Through personalized supports and whole-child practices, GVA North empowers students to become confident, multilingual global citizens prepared to navigate an interconnected world.
Student experience design
Our students develop a GLOBAL perspective by learning a second language, exploring diverse cultures to cultivate understanding and respect, and developing the skills to live and work with others internationally – all essential for life in the 21st century. With the world as the context for education, students need to find their place, voice, and dream. Our VILLAGE provides the support and the challenge to motivate students to excel in school and life.
