Why EdVisions Off Campus School was nominated

EdVisions Off Campus (EOC) is an online individualized project based teacher-powered school. EOC has created a unique program that allows students to work on individualized projects to pursue their interests and passions with the support of staff and peers in a real time online experience. Students have advisory field trips five times per year, all school gatherings twice per year and can participate in experiential trips each year such as: camping in the Florida Everglades, touring London, or exploring San Francisco. , EdVisions Off Campus (EOC) is a fully online, project-based, teacher-powered secondary school that reimagines learning by giving students true ownership over their education. Each learner works closely with an advisor, meeting multiple times a week to set goals, plan projects, and track progress. Students design and complete in-depth, personalized projects that reflect their interests, passions, and future aspirations, allowing them to learn core academic skills through meaningful, self-directed work. This flexible model helps students develop essential competencies such as time management, self-motivation, and critical thinking, while preparing them for college, careers, and life beyond high school.

Student experience design

The students at EOC experience student-led project based learning. They have positive relationships with the adults and their peers and students focus on their passions and those things that will help them be successful, at whatever opportunities they want to be involved in after high school and beyond.
